WUOW was officially closed in early May, 2013. The interviews will be of interest to researchers and those living in this area for years to come: they capture the sense of an individual’s life in a way which vitally preserves his/her experiences and contributions. Several of the programs, including Memories of the Railroad and Broad Street, were recorded at the Greater Oneonta Historical Society (GOHS), thanks to the sponsorship of Bob Brzozowski, GOHS Executive Director. Interviewees have included business and political leaders, medical professionals, artists, educators, and other individuals of interest both from Otsego and Delaware Counties. The goal was to capture individuals telling their own stories, recording their personal, professional and community accomplishments - with the personalization of their own voices. During the duration of the program, the host of KTC volunteered his services.Īlong with a live broadcast, the purpose of the program was to create an oral archive of those interviewed, which to date have numbered over 100, with over 100 hours recorded. The actual title of KTC was the suggestion of Brian Levis.

KTC was a live segment of the Sunday Review, hosted by Gary Wickham. Brian Levis was the producer from June – December, 2011. One such program is “Kitchen Table Conversations” (KTC), hosted by Alan Donovan, former College President, and produced by Mark Simonson. She completed the coursework for a BCBA at Florida Institute of Technology.The station aimed at offering a variety of programming, including interviews with local individuals of note and interest. Monica has an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters degrees from Johns Hopkins and Palo Alto University. She is a co-author of Unstuck and On Target (Brookes, 2011), a curriculum to enhance cognitive flexibility and problem solving in students with Autism and Solving Executive Function Challenges: Simple Ways to Get Kids with Autism Unstuck and on Target. The goal is always to explicitly teach skills that emphasize problem solving, self-advocacy and self-regulation–while keeping students on track academically. She focuses on developing multidisciplinary teams that create child-centered programming.

She currently works in private practice at the Center for Assessment and Treatment and has deep experience in schools developing programming for children with Autism. Monica Adler Werner, LGPC, MA specializes in program development, executive function interventions in autism, and parent coaching and support.
